Decided on basic concepts for our Larp:
1. Goal: Safe space that encourages communication
Gentle, welcoming, encouraging
2. Campaign Larp over multiple sessions
3. Structured Larp with rules
Larp Session 1:
Time: earlier time when things were not do complicated
Location: forest
Narrative:
Village is being threatened.
To save the village, villagers need help
Villagers go to forest to seek help from the Wise One who lives in the forest
Villagers also need help from their Mayor
Villagers must get to Fairyland to find answers
Characters:
Wise one (NPC)—meditative; lives in the forest
Mayor (NPC) – buffoon, funny
One villager (NPC)
Villagers (PCs)
Character sheets: Each villager will get character sheet indicating his or her role in the village and the problem to solve.

Part 1: Waking meditation
• Pat (NPC) is the Wise One. He is in the center of a circle.
• Players sit in chairs around the circle with eyes closed.
• Wise One tells the story
• Music playing
Part 2: Warm up
• Harriet is NPC
• Tells Villagers to get up, move chairs out of the way, and stand in a circle
• Explains that warm-up is an exercise to help the villagers come together to ask as a team to save the village
• Denah plays music, which can influence what the gesture/movement is.
• Begin with a gesture/movement (illustrates); everyone does that gesture/movement
• Pass the gesture/movement to the next person. That person changes the gesture/movement; everyone does that gesture/movement and so on until everyone has a turn.
Part 3: Mayor
• Denah is Mayor
• Mayor storms off in a funny, buffoonish way.
• Goes to a corner.
• NPC (who will do this?) Tells Villagers they need the mayor to help them solve the problem in the village. They must convince Mayor to come back and help them.
• Villagers must succeed.
• Mayor resists in funny way, but finally gives in
Larp Session 2:
Time: earlier time when things were not do complicated
Location: Gate to Fairyland
Narrative:
Villagers must figure out how to enter Fairyland
